Proficient and Caring Legal Support

Attorney Sarah Schnaithman is a Mississippi-licensed, bilingual attorney, and is the founder of Law Firm | Bufete Legal. Sarah is an active member of the LGBTQ+ community, to which she volunteers her time to educate and raise awareness. She also has a strong devotion to the LatinX community, and takes pride in advocating for her Spanish-speaking clients.

Sarah uses her background in education to explain the law to her clients in a manner that is easy for them to understand, so they can make well-informed decisions. She started her solo practice in Amory, Mississippi, with the goal of providing accessible and affordable legal services to her community and throughout the State of Mississippi. Law Firm | Bufete Legal is a client-centered practice that advocates for a broad range of legal matters including, but not limited to, family and criminal law, real estate and personal injury cases, as well as LGBTQ+ and civil rights matters.

“After what felt like ages of trying to parse the process of changing my legal name and gender marker in Mississippi with minimal information to be found online, I was put in touch with Sarah Schnaithman.

Sarah was immensely helpful with guiding in what actions to take, walking me through it step by step with professionalism and providing me with more than sufficient assistance, documentation, and knowledge on what would otherwise be a very confusing court situation. Her emails and responses to my questions were consistently punctual and thorough, offering surefire speedy solutions to any problems or obstacles that may have arisen.

I plan on contacting her for any more legal assistance I have in the future, and I recommend anyone else do the same!”
